West Valley Staffing Group participates in the 2008 Back-to-School Drive

SUNNYVALE, CA (August 4, 2008) – West Valley Staffing Group, an independent and privately owned staffing company, pulled together the supplies to send children back to school ready to learn. This is West Valley Staffing Group’s fifth year participating in the program organized by The Family Giving Tree, a San Francisco Bay Area based non-profit organization.

“This is a program that I look forward to participating in every year. Education is a key component in the futures of our youth as well as Silicon Valley.” said Mike Williams, President and CEO of West Valley Staffing Group. “The Family Giving Tree not only provides children with the tools they need to start the school year off right but also with a sense of confidence that really encourages them to succeed,” he continued.

On average, WVSG donates backpacks and supplies for 50 – 60 children each year. The Family Giving Tree provides backpacks and supplies to children entering grades K – 12. The provided supplies range from paper, pens and crayons to dictionaries, protractors and calculators.
